The reality star shared a photo on Instagram of her children holding a framed sonogram image (and another in which Lorenzo appears to be yelling and Giovanna has her head buried in her lap next to the sonogram).
“What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving,” she posted, with heart and prayer-hands emojis and the hashtag #family.
In the latest episode of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” MTV’s “Jersey Shore” revival that premiered in April, Polizzi was seen taking a pregnancy test after she became nauseated. She said in the episode that she had been trying for a third baby.
Polizzi’s first pregnancy in 2012 came with an announcement that she had gotten engaged to LaValle, and seemed to herald the end of “Jersey Shore.” The show saw its last episode in December of that year.
“Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” which welcomed back nearly all of the cast, is now in its second season. Four cast members — including Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jenni “JWoww” Farley — now have children.
Polizzi’s latest pregnancy announcement follows a major life event for another member of the “Jersey Shore” cast.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, 36, who has to report to prison on January 15 to start his eight-month sentence for tax evasion, married longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce in Pompton Plains on Nov. 1. Almost the whole original cast was in attendance for the Long Branch resident’s nuptials, including Jackson’s Deena Nicole Cortese, who joined the show to replace Angelina Pivarnick (who returned for the revival).
In December, Cortese, 31, is expected to give birth to her first child, a boy she says she will name Christopher James (her husband’s name is Christopher Buckner).
In her 2014 pregnancy book titled “Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and All the Messy Milestones Along the Way,” Polizzi said her first pregnancy thwarted her producers’ plans to have Snooki and JWoww “destroy Jersey City” (the duo lived in a former firehouse in the city).
