New Bergen County Tourney champ for the 1st time in 4 years
For the first time since 2013, Ramapo will not be the Bergen County Tournament champion. Ramapo had claimed the last four championships, but was stunned by Waldwick (pictured) in the first round of the BCT 2-0 last Sunday. The last team besides Ramapo to win the Bergen County Tournament was Cliffside Park, which defeated Don Bosco Prep 1-0 in the 2013 BCT final. Out of the eight teams still alive, Old Tappan was the last to win the BCT with a 3-2 win over Ramapo in 2011. That is its only championship.
