Pediatric dentist, boyfriend indicted in boy's beating, death threats

A pediatric dentist with offices in Jersey City and Bayonne has been indicted on charges of punching and threatening to kill her boyfriend’s 8-year-old son — and the boy’s father is now charged, too.

Marissa E. Halum, of the 100 block of Kensington Avenue in Jersey City, is charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of two children and weapons offenses related to a knife, the indictment says.
