Women from all different backgrounds came out to march for equality during the Women’s March for Peace and Justice held in Elizabeth on Saturday.
Hosted by the National United Youth Council, the march aimed to inspire and encourage women throughout the city.
“We’ve been thinking about a women’s march for a while,” said organizer Gail Campbell, “but we were really inspired when we saw the national women’s march that took place last year.”
