With Gov.-elect Phil Murphy participating, the Hudson County freeholders and the new county clerk were sworn in for new terms on Thursday Jan. 12, 2018, at the freeholders chambers on Pavonia Avenue in Jersey City.
The swearing-in came a week after originally scheduled because of the nor’easter that struck the region on Jan. 5.
Murphy, who is being sworn in today in Trenton, swore in new Hudson County Clerk E. Junior Maldonado and long-time freeholder Anthony Romano of Hoboken.
