Gov. Christie bid lawmakers farewell Jan. 9 on a tide of self-congratulations on his accomplish in the last eight years. He deserved them.
Popularity aside, Christie left a legacy engraved by Alfred Einstein: “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.”
Christie boasted that he saved the state from the “brink of financial ruin.”
