It was a day at the beach for a good cause. And it included a dip into the icy Atlantic Ocean.
Hundreds braved the winter chill on Saturday to take part in the annual Wildwood Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey.
Individuals and organized teams participated in the annual event held on the beach behind the Wildwoods Convention Center.
