The mother of a 12-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted in 2014 told a judge at his sentencing on Thursday she came to learn the man she once trusted was “a monster.”
Arthur Wildgoose, Jr., 34, of Bridgewater, was sentenced to 30 years in state prison after being found guilty in 2017 of first-degree aggravated sexual assault.
Somerset County Superior Court Judge Angela Borkowski ordered Wildgoose to serve at least 25 years before becoming eligible for parole for his assault of a 12-year-old Manville girl in 2014.
