Driver loses control in snow, hits woman waiting for school bus, police say

A Readington Township woman lost control of her vehicle on a snow- and ice-covered road on Friday, striking a woman waiting for her child to be picked up by a school bus, township police said.

Police responded to Pulaski and Thor Solberg roads at 9:45 a.m. after the 44-year-old woman was struck.

A 77-year-old woman from the Whitehouse Station section of the township attempted to brake for a stopped school bus while traveling east on Pulaski Road, police said.
