While the temperature has dropped, the amount of ice in Salem County waterways has grown.
Even the Delaware River, which in recent years has rarely been seen iced over is now clogged with ice floes off the shores of Salem County.
The unusual winter sight is thanks to a stretch of recent nights where the overnight temperatures have dropped into the lower teens and even single digits.
