“Somebody’s going to get killed. It’s scary.”
That’s Quinton Township Committeeman Joe Hannagan’s fear from what he and others say is constant speeding along a stretch of Route 49 in the township.
The residential area where the road intersects with Sherron Avenue is posted at 45 mph, but many drivers travel way over that limit, those who live there say.
“Most people go by speeding,” said John Budvash who lives in that stretch of Route 49.
He says one word describes the situation — “horrible.”
