It was a bias crime that stunned Sussex County and beyond — a popular diner defaced with anti-Semitic graffiti.
Three months later, an investigation into what happened at the Airport Diner in Wantage remains ongoing.
No arrests have been made, Sussex County First Assistant Prosecutor Greg Mueller said Wednesday.
Mueller added that the “case remains under active investigation and detectives have made substantial progress.”
The vandalism was discovered on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 16, by the diner’s owner and the first waitress to arrive.
Anti-Semitic messages, including “Kill Jews” and “Heil Hitler,” had been spray-painted on the side and rear walls.
