JERSEY CITY – The state laid out a misguided scheme of revenge corroborated by security video during closing arguments today in the trial of Froylan Lopez, who is charged with murdering Troy Brandon in 2015.
“He immediately thought, ‘I want revenge,'” Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Joseph Lanzot said of Lopez, 30, who is charged with fatally stabbing Brandon, 26, on Dec. 5, 2015 at Monticello and Storms avenues around 10:15 p.m.
