Should the cop who admitted beating a suspect get a lighter sentence for testifying against the cop accused of covering up for him?

Domenico Lillo was a Bayonne cop who went rogue and beat a suspect. He was arrested and charged with using “excessive force” during an arrest. But “excessive force” hardly describes the severity of the beating he administered.

Lillo went to the home of then 25-year-old Brandon Walsh in January 2013 with an arrest warrant for failure to appear in a Sussex County court.
