Some 120 Secaucus students danced for three hours and raised $1,200 for charities when the district hosted its first Dance-a-Thon for Charity last month.
The Secaucus Service Activities Involvement and Leadership (SAIL) students and Secaucus Middle School Student Government Organization (SGO), under the direction of Stacey Lee and Toni Ann Palmisano — and special guest former New York Giant Michael Cox — helped make the Nov. 17 event a success.
The three-hour dance-til-you-drop event featured music from the 1980s, ’90s and today. Students formed teams and teammates wore matching shirts that they created in support of their charity.
