NEWARK — The federal trial of a Bayonne cop accused of covering up an episode of police brutality ended its second day of jury selection yesterday with a full jury impaneled.
The trial of Francis Styles, of Bayonne, began Monday with jury selection, which continued through yesterday’s proceedings in Newark federal court. The selection of the trial’s jurors was held by U.S.
District Judge Kevin McNulty and both legal teams behind closed doors.
