Baseball hero Kirk Gibson inducted into College Football Hall of Fame

When Kirk Gibson was a junior wide receiver for Michigan State University in the 1970s, his coach, Darryl Rogers, asked him if he wanted to be a top five pick in the NFL.

“I said, ‘Yeah, it would be great.’ And he said, “Go out for baseball.”
