Homeless man who received $400K in donations buys house

The homeless man whose story went viral last month will soon have a permanent roof over his head.

Johnny Bobbitt Jr. has purchased a home, he wrote on the GoFundMe that garnered nearly $400,000 to get him off the streets.

“The feeling is indescribable and it all thanks to the support and generosity that each and every one of you has shown,” he wrote. “I’ll continue to thank you every single day for the rest of my life.”
