1 hurt when tractor-trailer, sedan collide on Route 78

A passenger was hurt when a tractor-trailer and Pontiac sedan collided Sunday morning on Route 78 in Warren Township, State Police said.

The vehicles were traveling west at 6:25 a.m., by mile marker 37, when they collided and went off the right side of the highway, coming to rest in a grassy area, New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Lawrence Peele said.

Both drivers were unhurt, but a passenger in the Pontiac was taken to Morristown Medical Center with injuries that are not life-threatening, Peele said.
