Taylor wrote about playing football for the University of Wisconsin, where two of South Jersey’s greatest running backs — Ron Dayne and Corey Clement — both blossomed into stars.
“He spoke it into existence,” said Montrey Wright, who was the substitute teacher in the class when Taylor handed in his essay. “It was like a movie.”
