The Jersey City Fall Community Festival drew dozens of kids and residents on Saturday as part of the city’s new Police Chaplaincy program.
Kids of all ages got to play in a basketball tournament at the National Guard Armory on Montgomery Street on Saturday. There was face-painting and plenty of other youth-orientated activities as well.
Meanwhile, the city police department, as a way to strengthen community relations, hosted a Coffee With A Cop for residents to get acquainted with local officers.
