Council postpones vote on Flemington redevelopment plan

FLEMINGTON — In a highly anticipated meeting regarding Flemington’s current redevelopment plan, council members motioned to table the vote on the plan until Dec. 11.

In an effort to include council member-elects in the decision making process, four council members supported the motion proposed by Councilwoman Brooke Liebowitz to postpone the vote.

Betsy Driver and Michael Harris, strong supporters of keeping the Union Hotel, defeated incumbents Brian Swingle and Kim Tilly in last week’s election.
