$1,400 worth of nail polish stolen from CVS, authorities say

BAYONNE — A shoplifter swiping 144 bottles of nail polish from a local drug store was among four thefts reported in one day, police said.

The first theft on Nov. 6 was reported at about 8 a.m. A business on Avenue C near 47th Street was burglarized, but information regarding what was stolen was not provided by police in a media statement.

Then at about 4 p.m., the CVS on Avenue C reported that $1,400 worth of nail polish had been swiped from the display shelves, authorities said.
