Pancakes, sausage and eggs fuel local volunteer firefighters

LEBANON TWP. – A number of volunteer fire companies in Hunterdon County hold pancake breakfasts once a month on Sundays to help raise money to buy equipment and fund training for its firefighters.

One of those is Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Department, and others are Califon Volunteer Fire Company, which holds its breakfast on the first Sunday of the month, and Hampton Volunteer Fire Company and Sergeantsville Volunteer Company on the third Sunday of the month.
