You have to feel for Jamaur Scaife, who is rightfully concerned that his second-grader son is being cheated out of an education.
Scaife’s son attends Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Trenton. The boy has not had a permanent teacher since the start of the school year.
Instead, there has been a procession of temporary teachers and at times the boy’s second-grade class has had to hunker down in other classrooms, including with much older fourth-graders.
For Scaife, this is an intolerable situation. He is worried his son is not learning and may even be falling behind.
