As “lone-wolf” terrorist incidents erupt with repugnant regularity, a common factor emerges about the perpetrators. When we delve into the person’s past, there is almost always that point when he (and there are very few “shes”) was “turned.”

Typically that person was exposed to, immersed in and ultimately seduced by what we would deem propaganda. For the right individual, it’s effective. And, it’s nothing new.
