Central Jersey man charged in 2 Franklin Twp. bank robberies

SOMERVILLE – A Hillsborough man has been charged in two bank robberies that happened in Franklin Township.

Quintin D. Watson, 50, of Stratford Court, was charged with two counts of first degree robbery for bank robberies that happened on Nov. 1 and Sept. 3, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said on Monday.

An investigation into a string of recent bank robberies throughout Central Jersey is continuing, and additional charges against Watson are pending, according to the prosecutor’s office.
