Heritage's celebrates 60 years with new store grand opening

Sixty years to the day that the Heritage family opened its first convenience store, they opened their 33rd location.

The family owned company has grown substantially since 1957 and celebrated with the grand opening of a West Deptford location at Grove and Mantua Grove roads on Oct. 10.

The family opened its first store in Westville on Oct. 10, 1957. In addition to milk, they sold bread, cigarettes and many other convenience store staples in the days before Wawa.

They sold out of all their groceries that first day.
