Jersey City brothers charged with murder won't be released

The second of two brothers charged with fatally stabbing a man in Jersey City in September will be detained through the course of his prosecution, a judge ruled yesterday.

Hudson County Superior Court Judge Nesle Rodriguez found there are no conditions of supervised release that would ensure David Jones, 46, of Jersey City, would appear for his court hearings and would not be a danger to the public.

Jones and his brother, Horace L. Parker, 31, also of Jersey City, are charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses in connection to the Sept. 27 stabbing that left 25-year-old Richard …read more
