Twice convicted 'predator' pimp headed back to prison

ATLANTIC COUNTY — A now-twice convicted pimp is expected to spend another 10 years in prison after pleading guilty Wednesday to human trafficking.

Marcus E. Tukes, 47, of Bridgeton, admitted he forced a woman into prostitution, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in announcing the plea deal.

“Marcus Tukes is a predator, pure and simple,” assistant prosecutor Cary Shill said. “He has made a career of perpetuating human slavery through prostitution.”
