Juvenile charged in Snapchat '38 bullets' threat video against HS

MIDDLETOWN — A juvenile has been charged with making a threat while holding boxes of bullets against Middletown High School North in a video posted on the social media platform Snapchat.

The juvenile, whose name is not being released by police, was charged with terroristic threats Thursday for the Snapchat video, which appeared to show two boxes of ammunition with a male saying “38 bullets? Why does he have this many? Lord knows you’re in Keansburg, not Camden.”

The threat, however, was deemed “not credible” by police earlier on Thursday, and classes were to be held as regularly scheduled.
