Manville man had Taser, heroin and $5K, prosecutor says

SOMERVILLE – Charles Gordon, 56, of Manville is facing several charges after a narcotics investigation led police to his home, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.

Detectives from the prosecutor’s office, along with Manville police with help from Bound Brook Police Department’s K-9 Crusader, searched Gordon’s home on Sept. 27, according to a news release.

Seized were 221 bags of heroin with a street value of $1,500; a black Thunder Power Taser; empty baggies, a heroin stamper, two scales and rubber bands; and $5,066 in cash, the prosecutor’s office said.
