Man charged with assaulting 4 cops during struggle

FRANKLIN — A man who threatened to harm himself and others faces multiple charges after he struggled with four officers when they attempted to detain him Monday, police said.

Daniel Faria, 39, of Franklin, became aggressive and challenged officers when they found him walking on Corkhill Road near Ogdensburg at about 3 p.m., Detective Sgt. Nevin Mattessich said in a news release.
