Hunterdon Sheriff Fred Brown honored by Boy Scouts (PHOTOS)

RARITAN TWP. – A huge crowd joined 150 Boy Scouts in the Hunterdon Central Regional High School auditorium on Wednesday to honor Hunterdon County Sheriff Frederick W. Brown, who received scouting’s 2017 “Distinguished Citizen” award.

There were many highlights to the event, including a fascinating presentation by world-renowned entrepreneur and astronaut Dr. Gregory Olsen.

Olsen described his travels into outer space and his ten-day stay at the International Space Station with Russian Cosmonauts. He cited the training involved, the careful planning and the daily living experience.
