Woman threatened neighbor's guest with a knife, police say

RARITAN TWP. – Kathleen Herald, 47, of the township, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and harassment following a call to Darts Mill Grove at 7:40 p.m. on Oct. 1, police said.

Officer Scott Phibbs responded to the apartment complex after a report that a resident had threatened a guest of another resident with a knife, police said. Following processing at police headquarters, Herald was turned over to officers from the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department to be held in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, police said.
