For Yesenia Vazquez-Pagan, the search for the man she calls “my best friend, my love,” has been ongoing for more than a week.
It was on Sept. 26 that Julio Pagan Jr. jumped from the Delaware Memorial Bridge despite the pleas from Vazquez-Pagan and family members for him to reconsider his decision to end his life, she says.
“I’m hoping that he’s alive, but I know he’s probably not,” Vazquez-Pagan said in an interview.
His body has not yet been recovered from waters under the bridge which connects Pennsville with New Castle County, Del.
