Officers ditched golf cart, lied to cops after man was injured, indictment says

BRIDGETON – Three officers have been indicted on charges that they lied about details of a late afternoon accident on a golf cart in 2016 that left a man seriously hurt, authorities say.

New Jersey Department of Corrections Officer Joseph Tolotti and Vineland police officers Tomasz Kwintiuk and Steven Houbary were named in a seven-count indictment handed up by a Cumberland County grand jury Wednesday, according to Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
