Man convicted of stealing pipes, radiators from National Guard Armory

NEWTON — A jury found a 55-year-old man guilty of breaking into the Newton National Guard Armory last year to steal copper piping and radiators, causing more than $2,000 in damages, authorities said.

Michael Kaprosch was convicted on charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief on Wednesday in a jury trial presided over by Judge William J. McGovern III, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.
