Motorcyclist flown to hospital after serious crash in Roxbury

ROXBURY — A Pennsylvania man was airlifted to an area hospital Wednesday night after he was involved in a serious motorcycle crash on Mount Arlington Boulevard, police said.

The motorcyclist — a 24-year-old man from Milford, Pa. — apparently crashed into a sign off the roadway near 190 Mount Arlington Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m., Roxbury police spokeswoman Jennifer Dillard said.

The motorcyclist’s current condition wasn’t immediately available Thursday morning. His identity hasn’t yet been released because it’s unclear if his family has been notified.

The crash remains under investigation.
