Man accused of being an accomplice in revenge shooting

TRENTON — A city man will remain in jail after being accused of being an accomplice to the shooting of a teenager, who was not the intended victim.

According to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, Kenneth Melendez, 23, and his co-defendant’s were seeking retaliation for a domestic violence incident involving Melendez’s sister and her ex-boyfriend.
