2 seriously hurt in Vineland crash, police say

VINELAND — Two people were injured in a serious crash in the city Tuesday night when one driver allegedly ran a stop sign, authorities said.

The accident took place at the intersection of North Delsea Drive (state Route 47) and Gallagher Drive around 8:44 p.m., according to the Vineland Police Department.

Authorities say Jonathan F. Lema, 21, of Williamstown was driving a 2014 Nissan Altima eastbound on Gallagher Drive when he alleged failed to stop a stop sign.

Lema’s entered North Delsea Drive and was struck by a southbound 2004 Ford Focus, according to authorities. Police did not identify that driver.
