Secret life of (30,000!) bees found in walls of N.J. home

HILLSIDE — About 30,000 bees and 40 pounds of honey were found in the walls of a township home, according to a report on CBS-2.

The homeowner told the television station he’s had a problem with bees for months, but had no indication he was dealing with that many.

A beekeeper that removed the flying insects called them “very aggressive” and “on the edge of killer bees.”

The bees have been moved to a Rochelle Park church that lost its beehive earlier this year.
