School bus, car crash on Bridgeton street, police say

BRIDGETON — No children were hurt when their school bus and a vehicle collided early Tuesday morning, police said.

The crash was reported at 7:28 a.m. on Pearl Street near American Avenue, according to Bridgeton Police Lt. Richard Zanni.

The bus and a Chevrolet Impala were involved in the accident, police said.

There were five children and the driver on board the school bus. None of them were injured, Zanni said.

The bus was carrying children headed to the Vineland Charter School, Zanni said.
