NEWTON — Police seized 165 packets of heroin and arrested four people last week following a crackdown by authorities in Newton.
The arrests, which came about through investigations by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force and Newton police, took place on Wednesday and Friday, police said in a news release.
Brian Johnson, 33, of Branchville, and Anntoinette MacDonald, 36 of Newton, were each charged with third-degree heroin distribution, and Erin Dockray, 39, of Newton, was charged with second- and third-degree heroin distribution.
