Prosecutor, black law enforcement group to meet with public about police interactions

MADISON — Local prosecutors, county police chiefs and a black law enforcement officers group announced they’ll host a program on Thursday at First Baptist Church in Madison focused on “proper procedures when interacting with law enforcement.”

The program, which will feature the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives Northern New Jersey chapter, the Morris County Chiefs of Police Association and the Madison Police Department, will also discuss New Jersey law and police internal affairs reporting procedures.
