Clerk who gave confidential records to campaigning mayor has convictions reversed

TRENTON — An appeals court has reversed two convictions of a former police clerk found guilty of releasing confidential records.

Terri M. Gross was found guilty in Superior Court in Salem of a fourth-degree offense of unlawfully releasing confidential Division of Youth and Family Services records and a disorderly persons offense of obstructing the administration of law, according to court records.

Gross was found not guilty of a fourth-degree charge of obstructing the administration of law in the case.

She had filed an appeal of the convictions with the Appellate Division of Superior Court.
