JERSEY CITY — Newark Avenue was packed with people on Saturday as thousands came out for the city’s annual All About Downtown street fair.
What began in 2011 has grown into one of the city’s largest festivals; last year drew 30,000, according to the city, and it seemed a similar number came out this year to celebrate the city’s downtown section.
There were hundreds of vendors on hand selling products of all kind including handmade jewelry and artwork. The fair stretched miles down the Avenue between Grove and Coles streets.
