Three Hudson County community health centers will each receive $175,000 in federal grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Sens. Bob Menendez and Cory Booker announced yesterday.
The funds for Metropolitan Family Health Center and Horizon Health Center, both in Jersey City, and the North Hudson Community Action Corp., based in West New York, are part of more than $3.3 millions awarded by the National Health Center Program to federally-qualified health centers (FQHCs) in New Jersey.
