Trump is back in New Jersey

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump returned to his Bedminster golf club on Friday, beginning what is expected to be a weekend stay before the United Nations General Assembly meeting next week.

Trump helicoptered from Morristown Airport to Bedminster, departing at 5:26 p.m., according to White House pool reports. Earlier, he had flown a smaller Air Force One to Morristown from Joint Base Andrews, arriving in New Jersey at 5:12 p.m.

Those onboard included the president’s daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. First lady Melania Trump remained in Washington.

It is his sixth visit to the golf club since being elected president.
