Nanny pushing 2 in stroller struck by car in Hoboken: police

A nanny pushing two children in a stroller in Hoboken this morning was struck by a car and hospitalized, but miraculously the children were left without a scratch, authorities said this afternoon.

The woman, whose name was not released, is being treated at RWJBarnabas’ Jersey City Medical Center for head injuries, Hoboken Lt. Edgardo Cruz said. Details on the extent of her injuries were not available this afternoon, Cruz said.

The nanny was pushing a double stroller when she was struck at Fifth and Monroe streets at 10:48 a.m., Cruz said.
